Celebrating being together for 12 years, Emily + Issac decided to elope in beautiful Hawai'i. Craving togetherness, quiet, and natural beauty, Kauai was a natural choice.
After some editorial inspired photos at the Hanalei River Cottages, we headed to Tunnels Beach just after sunrise to capture the beauty of Kauai and Emily + Issac's connection.
Playing with the wind, changing light, and natural landscape, I gave Issac and Emily lots of prompts instead of poses. Prompts based in movements like walking, running, picking up and spinning really help to loosen everyone up and get the couples laughing and enjoying the moment. This is where their connection shines, when they forget the camera is there and they are just enjoying being with each other.
